Can you make homemade servers in H&S? No, there is no server side mod for download. Only way to use the gametype for personal use is by renting a server from 2k3 servers with the mod. |

I'm still kind of convinced that R.S.I. Mod is Hide&Seek, it shouldn't even matter that it's not being developed anymore. It's free, allows you to host at home. I'm not promoting it, I'm just correcting a wrongly stated point. Besides, what is there not to trust? It runs on the id Tech 2 or 3 Engine (not sure, I think three..), so how will this manipulate the game (or "hack" something in any way). That's like saying "I can hack ur comp now I got ur ip!". Not getting in a discussion here, just wanting to be treated fairly, that's all bud. |

There is only one server side from our h&s, your mod is different.

And you're absolutely right on that, there's only one RPM2k3 H&S mod, which has to be paid for. In generally though, our Mod is Hide&Seek, thus it should be considered an alternative for those looking for a free home-made server which runs Hide&Seek (the thing he was asking for).

Whatever floats your boat dude. I'm under "your roof" here. Though it's like saying it's illegal to talk about how much you owned while you were in a mp_italy server.. I mean, this is a RPM 2k3 Hide&Seek community right? It's just Soldier of Fortune 2 I'm talking about, yes there are other mods, no they shouldn't be promoted here, and they're not. I don't see what the hassle is about. |
