Hey, many people, when connecting to a pure server, gets the invalid folder error, and I think I can completely fix this (I had it myself). And since RPM Hide&Seek server will become pure, I dont want anyone to encounter this confusing error, so I decided to share what I know about it First of all, you should be pure, no mods/skins/sounds, maps shouldn't stop you from entering a pure server so they arent considered as mods but if you get an "Unpure client" error maybe you should try to remove them. Your game also needs to be legal, if you downloaded it from caserun.com/games or torrents, you might encounter the error, the daemon tools way wont give you problems (although its not legal aswell), so its a good idea to try reinstalling sof2 by it Also, your sof2 folder should have the name "Soldier of Fortune II - Double Helix" and (not sure about this) be located at the default location (C:\Program Files\Soldier of Fortune II - Double Helix) If you had sof2 gold and converted it into 1.00, you will maybe have to reinstall by the daemon tools way, as you wont have all files necessary. If you still get the error, I really dont know, maybe try to update your CD key to a newer valid one. Hope it helped some of you, if you know more about it be free to tell me and if you still encounter the problem you can ask me maybe I will be able to help ya.

Basically all you needed to say Azote, is to tell the person who has "invalid game folder" error to reinstall through the deamon tools way by carefully watching my video tutorial if needed... and then the only thing you can't do is to add any extra files but names.cfg and maps like max_zena (these are allowed). But adding mods might mess up real bad when joining a Pure server.
