Yes it is official, after all these old rumors, there is finally an Anti-cheat tool for v1.00 to get rid of all those hackers and it has been in a test phase now since a month ago but is now public for anyone who is interested. But you will probably be forced to use this anyway later in future as there will only be mt clanwars (Clanwars that only includes mt users ) so get it now at 87.117.245.2/~burpican/ A clean game folder is recommended before running mousetrap.exe! - MouseTrap prevents you from using hacks, and wont let you cheat in any form apart from mods that include laser knives, glow skins, soundpacks and so on... but it blocks .dll files, but also /hash commands. If someone bypasses this tool to create cheats as .pk3 files you can still bust them by using the @ms command (to screenshot everybody's screen ). It was originally founded in demo under the name 'FairPlay' but the name was copyrighted so burpicane, the developer, had to rename it into something else, and mousetrap's motto: ''A cheater is like a mouse... running into a trap". - FOR MORE INFORMATION, PLEASE REGISTER AT WWW.DEMOBASE.EU |

I'm part of the developing team and as I was testing the beta release with some other guys it was already spreading via another link (fairplay.no-ip.com) while Sativa (Webmaster) locked a download thread from his site. Everyone was complaining about the @ms crash but this is fixed in new version. Damn, we're already up to Version 15 today and it's funny because burpje is a programmer from demo, why would he help us in v1.00? , but thanks for the positive comment Mario. Anyways, if you guys want third along with mousetrap (because /hash cg_thirdperson <> is blocked in mt of course), then use Max's latest RPM 0.7 mod which currently is RPM 0.75 at this point but is soon to be updated, stay tuned on site and you'll notice any new changes. I recommend always to be updated on the RPM mod because newer versions contain bug fixes and very useful features etc. |

good news carl and btw, in this new version, does anything need to be changed such as changning that one line in the sof2.cfg from 4 to 50 i think it was? again, good news and its about time 1.0 becomes cheater free  Ok , i got MT now |
