I don't know why Icehawk banned him with this reason. Anyway, I don't see this L33 on our Not-Welcome List, so he's unbanned now.

Thanks for taking the time to unban me. I was asked by IceHawk if ProMod are starting up again, I said yes, we're re-uniting. I was then asked by they guy how long I'd been in Pro-mod, when I replied, he banned me...
I enjoy playing H&S here, the best one running atm IMO, and I'm not just saying it to kiss ass. I wouldn't have minded if the ban had a genuine reason behind it, but this was obviously an impromptu ban. Thanks for taking the time to check, peace.

Icehawk has no rights to ban you for the reason ''not welcome here'' as long as you're not on the list.

Stop trying to cause arguments, this is already sorted so please just bury the hatchet. We already know there is a little conflict between ProMod and RPM Hide & Seek, but there really is no need for it all. After speaking to some polite members from your server, I was given the impression that they all thought XYZ had stole your H&S source code and didn't ask permission from max to use it. I was also told that there was conflict because when we ran our H&S Server, we didn't get max's permission. Now, a couple of pointers. The H&S gametype source code was originally released by RAVEN, the makers of SOF2; and the basics of the gametype were made available to the public in the release of the source code. Therefore it was not Max's idea for the gametype, but RAVEN's. So both our servers were running a gametype that was originally designed by raven. So why should ProMod have to ask permission from a server that merely used the idea Raven came up with? Anyway, the modifications for the H&S gametype on your server are unique, and that's what seperates your server from the rest. Someone has put a lot of work into developing the H&S gametype, and I just wish you the best in continuing developing one of the best Gametypes ever made. |
