I Suggested to Slizer about my idea of new Soldier Of Fortune 2; Gametype, Trickjump. He took it cool, but now I want to know what other people is thinking about it. Especialy Max, who could organize the gametype.
By this gametype I mean some kind of new map, where is jumping parts of SoF2 Original maps & possibly new jumps.
There is a Start, where players spawn, and they start jumping for example Mp_shop; Cargo Elevator Jump. When players finnish the jumps over and over they come into Goal place. It would be made for ppl to jump for fun & for some players to learn to jump
If Anyone played trickjumps in other games like CS, CS-S, CoD or Wolfenstein Enemy Territory, you could know what kind of the trickjumping is.
Vote about it and ask in msn: sami-rissanen@hotmail.com , if you want to know more.

I have played UT99 for quite a long time. There is a homemade gametype in this game, called Bunnytrack. It must be about the same as what you are suggesting. You have to jump to places and dodge (some special UT move to boost yourself). You have to get to some goal and if you do, your team gets 1 point. The dodging makes this quite interesting and skillful. I think the UT Bunnytrack more fun than if it was made for SoF2 because of this dodging. In addition, the 333 FPS for SoF2 enables further jumps, which some people can't reach because they don't have a powerful computer (which is often the reason they still play such an old game).

I don't know why you want this gametype in SoF2, it should be more fun in other games for the reasons I have stated above.

Hey, I know this is old, but I actually played on those bunnytrack servers, the only problem of bringing it to SoF2 would be making the maps for it. Because all of those maps are custom made, but it could definitely work, just have to find a person with all of the time in the world and make some of these maps. But that shit takes awhile. And just to add to what max said, it's fun because you're playing against the other team without really seeing each other because there are two sides to the map, so it really depends on skill and/or teamwork. And the trickjump in UT was really just like a quick side step up against a wall, which you would then slide.

I like this!! You really can make it on sof2. Look 3 months ago in joel his server he made a way with boxes in mp_shop. Some boxes were bugged so you couldnt jump on it so you needed to go another way. When you was on the last box you could jump to another platform who he made with a little telleport. When he had that map on the server was really fast full. I think much players like it and it is really nice!! And beginning people can learn how to jump better. And when you just make it so that 333 isnt possible. So i mean that you can even as far with 333 or without 333.

I could spend time with it but I think that you're the one who has to do the modding I like the Box-Idea or Something like that but not just only Boxes! You could do many other things! Someone could just edit nearly empty map such as Cemetry1 for some boxes and teleports or something like that?! That way no1 doesnt need to make maps for huge amount of time
