Zombies should have the power to choose "what class zombie you want like in cs, raptor zombie 'higher speed' or rambo zombie 'higher gravity' and they shouldn't hold a knife, they should like just use hands and like "slap people" just like in cs
The stunning with a knife is a bullshit in Zombie mod. You should add some AK with like 10 bullet so you can stun with it.
And when you got killed as a human by a zombie you should revive where you got killed.. Not from spawn it does totally sux.

I think there is a skin in SoF2 that has a sort of zombie-ish figure that could be used for the team.

Max, I've tested this with a few people and we're playing there right now coming up with ideas. We've thought of some things that you should remove and add. For example, the stunning is a feature from h&s and should stay there, you're able to kill the zombies with the knife instead, but lowered damage. Same with the frag nade that blows them away, remove that.
The first hunter who dies will spawn as a zombie next round. All humans are provided with a shotty, low damage and low ammo (they can pick up new ammo from dead humans). For each zombie kill you obviously boost your score with +1, surviving a round will boost your score with +5 or +10, all those humans who survived a round will be awarded with a sniper rifle and the human with most kills in a round is awarded with an RPG, 1-3 bullets, maybe lowered damage. The humans team must stay locked for zombies and specs so ppl are forced to zombies. AFK'ers will be forced to spec or kicked after 20-30 seconds.
More to come...
EDIT: The humans should spawn where they died (if possible) or at random places, such as DM spawns. Also change zombies to red team and humans to blue team. Change to [z] (in the chat). [h]umans, [z]ombies.
EDIT2: Forgot to mention, the hunter with highest score, wins the map.

iif there is a winner of the map you can still do a cage for the other "loosers" and the one who winz the cage getz 1 point and The Winner of the whole map receive 5 points

And its better for seeks if the hiders have the same skin because a marine skin isnt so good invisble in a map ike col1

I don't really like the classes thing, it could perhaps be added later. Killing with hands is impossible, we have to keep the knife. Stunning with an AK74 is certainly less fun than stunning with a knife. The spawning at the place where you die could easily be added, it's a good idea I guess. Also, remember that this game is not supposed to be the same as in CS, but we can take some good idea's from them. Killing zombies will probably be unfun, especially when it's like 25 vs 1 at the start. Imagine 25 players shooting a single zombie every single round. Then, stunning seems like it's more fun. The score system hasn't been made yet, but I like your idea's on that. Why would you want to swap the blue and red team? That seems very counter intuitive. Also, I'm going on holiday next week (to South Africa!) so unfortunately I have to halt the mod development for about 3 weeks.

Aight Max, but we all want to kill the zombies, and the damage should be low. In the beginning, when there is only 1 zombie, he can easily kill a noob or an AFK, then they'll be two zombies, eventually the "fairness" will be turned and humans become less and less (obviously).
But the ammo should be low as well. It won't be unfair. The stunning is pretty lame too, it's a h&s feature and everyone wants it to stay there! ;D

I think adding classes to this new gametype is a wonderful opportunity to try something new. Something that might work and fits perfectly in the spirit of this gametype is the idea of adding doctors and scientists. Their task will be to "heal" the zombies so they can become human again. This way the hunters will have a bigger chance on surviving since they won't be outnumbered as fast. There will have to be a fixed limit of players for this class, according to the total amount of players, and a new weapon for this class, and for this class only, since this weapons will contain the cure. My suggestion is a pistol. - "NPC_Paramedic/paramedic_w1"
- "doctor1"
- "scientist1"
- "NPC_Nurse/nurse_w1"
- "dmitri"
So what are the hunters supposed to do now? I came up with a solution, however it is sort of the same as the stunning feature. The hunters will all have a knife and a shotgun, but instead of killing the zombie with these weapons it can be used to slow them down permanently. The speed will lower until it reaches a fixed minimum, according to the health of the zombie. We can test this minimum later on to see what will be best. This fits perfectly in the spirit of the gametype aswell, because it is as if you are shooting parts of the body off and thus slowing the zombie down. I have noticed that there is only one zombie skin, however there is another skin that fits perfectly. It is a female skin so we can have more diversity. - "NPC_Virus_Villager_Famle/virus_female"

Michel, adding the doctor/scientist could be a good idea. It's much like CnR in a way when you are trying to escape from the prison. "stunning" could be increasing health the person the doctor/scientist is trying to heal.
