Max, it causes huge lags when you drop 2-4 mines on the ground and shoot them with RPG, and remember the server crashes last time we tested that.
When is 2k3 upgrading the servers? It's laggy just running a full server and especially when everyone's shooting at the same time.

The claymores would be more funny at zombie passes it, like COD's claymores. Much more funny.

@ Androew: agreed, but I think it's good the way it is. The most daring human will get the weapon, it's a high risk / high reward situation.
@ Fouiny: we could do that of course, but would it be more fun than the current system? Does it happen alot that players are messing with your claymores?
@ Carl: the server crashed previously because of 50+ mines exploding, which caused 50 debug messages per client. Shouldn't happen now. Are you sure it's that laggy?
@ Pwnah: yes, we can combine the two. We could also make them explode when a zombie passes them. Originally I made them that way, but I think it's more fun to make them explode only when you shoot them.

Max, but it's injust because i planted a claymore and my teammates fucked it up. And we died because of that. Idk but, i think its better at pass.

The claymores are cool, but the damage should be increased. Yesterday during lake i planted a claymore on the wooden pillar in the middle above the football field, and as a zombie ran next to it on the pillar left to it (That's like 1,5 mtr in distance to the middle one) I detonated it but after that it took me an extra 3 bullets with my shotty to kill him. The claymores should be as powerfull as an RPG if not even more powerfull.

@ Carl: Anyone can shoot the claymore, but the kills will count for the player who dropped the claymore. @ Virtus: We could do that as well, and make them more powerful. But again the problem is that you could annoy the first zombie with them, so that's why I like them as a weapon drop. Hum yes but we could also add claymores for the best zombie killer but he would have it only after 1min or after a second zombie joins the blue team. Is it possible ?

Why make it so complicated? When I come to think about it, it's a good thing that others can blow up your mines - if you're in a shitty situation and see someone's claymore, it'll atleast give you a free weapon. Just increase the range and it'll be coolbeans!

I can't imagine how it is for people with a less better computer than me... mine is extremely powerful. Raaarrrwwhhgg Superpowerrr. I personally have no experience with lagging cause of those claymores, but I agree with usdrama the power/radius of them should be increased.

I like the claymores at all. Some suggestions: -> Claymores exploding, if the player pushes a key. I remember that feature from James Bond 007: Nightfire. You had to drop the claymore somewhere, and then the normal weapon mod switched into something like 'Boom Up!'. If you wanted to place your claymore then, the other one just exploded. So you maybe do it like switch between booming it up and placing it. -> If it's possible, do some red or green laser into it, going into the direction it's thrown (as example if its thrown on bottom -> its going to top, left to right, ...) -> Add some sounds if you place it. I always thought I placed them already, but just noticed I still got them in my inventory. Do it like if you take AK, this lil sound, play a beep or something

To expand my thought on the laggyness, it is just FPS dropping whenever someone explode 4 mines at the same time with an RPG or something. This is only for a few seconds though, but still very annoying.

What do you mean by reduce them..? If you keep killing zombies they will keep dropping it......
Radius is fine, it just needs more powaaah. RPG powaaah preferably.

And Ignore my fuckn suggestion, noobs xD Ok, so I agree with your suggestion to add sounds, but not for pressing a key because it will be a telecommand bomb and we are using claymores xD For the lazers, I asked it already and the said no :/ But i keep wanting it because it's fucking awesome... In my opinion we should boost VERY MUCH ZOMBIES ( more health / speed, ect... ) and add the lazers and more weapons for the hiders, or remove dropping system and replacing it by choosing a weapon in the menu. PS : The actual gametype is awesome too but we could try new things who knows ?

They are very buggy and now i mean VERY. I had firstperson today I shot em 3 times before them exploded, it was first on the 4th bullet from (M3A1) it exploded.
