'h&s' - Tournament

Hello dear RPM,

Riel, LinKan and me (Sulka), were thinking about a tournament. To end the vacation nicely. (or later, idc ).
But iFl can't fix a server. So it's kinda hard for us to organise it all by ourselves. So we were thinking about RPM as 'partner'. I asked Charlie before for a server, but he hasn't. So has anybody (from Adminteam) a good, laggfree server for this tournament?
We don't know yet how, when, what kind of gametype , ... We first want a server (duh).
But 1 thing is sure: it won't be for clans, you have to make teams by yourself then. (Some guys have 3048 clans at h&s).

Further, we need Referees too. The most admins of RPM are having experiences already, so maybe they can be Ref. Offcourse they can play aswell then.

Some people know this (suggestion/idea) already, and they were kinda positive about it. But we are missing the most important thing: a server.

So if someone can help... ? Would be nice

How about this

1st tourney = Stunning tourney
You have 2 rounds on each map with 1v1's hider and seeker then after hider gets 5 stuns or seeker kills him then automatically swich teams and then winner or player who won both rounds of the match moves on and if its a tie they both redo the match
also have a chart ex:
if there is 8 people that sign up they are paired evenly and then 4 advance, then 2, then those 2 are the finals gliding tourney is those same people but they glide up a hill and then the first 6 people move up and they do the same thing agian
2nd tourney = Gliding tourney
You line all the players up on a map and they have to glide up a hill and the chart goes like this ex:
gliding tourney is those same people but they glide up a hill and then the first 6 people move up and they do the same thing agian but the first 4 then the top 2 then the 1st person up wins then the if only 1 person wins both he/she wins and if 2 or more people win they have a round of zombie mode with all the others as zombies and those players are humans

Maybe TBM could give server for turnament. We currently have 3 servers running: CTF (18), TDM/Scim (10), H&S (18)
It's summer and they are kind of empty. Send PM of your email/msn if your interested.

I just used 2 random choice, they can use any others thats just a basic plan

Seeking competition: Who can get the most kills in a map.

Hiders competition: Who can get the most points in a map.

Cage match tournament: 4 man cage, winner goes on.

You forgot about stunning Stunning became a part of hide&seek and it should not be forgotten in this H&s match

How about...

1st Challenge: Like Pow said: 1v1 stunning and then reverse.
2nd Challenge: Hiders have to accomplish a steeplechase with many obstacles, they are hunting down by the seekers, they die they start at the beginning. first (depends on number of players) goes on.
3rd Challenge: The Hiders have to kill the seekers by stabbing them with AK-47's.
Alternative Challenge (can be replaced by 1 Challenge): An edited map, like Shop, where boxes are setted up. The Hiders who won previously, have to be the first at an objective (building etc). If you fall more then allowed, you die and start again or you die and don't respawn. Seekers are doin the same 2 all challenges. You only need couple of players and the teems must be even: like 20 hiders, someone chooses and it's gonna be 10-10.

Challange 3 will be in a cagefight or full map? Cause if it's a full map it will be hardly doable

Well, the Hiders have to stab the Seeks in full map: for example: The Hiders are killing the seekers like in the 1st Challenge, or there must be a huge cage and the seeker who lasts the longest wins the tournament for seekers. But if the tournament is done it will be reverse so the seekers in the first tournament will be hiders and hiders will be seekers.

Its just an tournament not a new gametype

Back to the tournament, I would be really pleasured if some one can organise this. What you need for this:

- Server
- Rules
- Edits ( maps etc )
- Players
- Referees
- Time table

So? Any one who can organise it ( Especially you Charlie ) ?
