Indeed the referees have been a big question in this world cup, at least 10 goals that should/shouldn't be counted as a goal.

It was offside, even if he hasnt touched the ball, he played the ball, then, its considered as an offside.

I need to be fair. I'm coming from The Netherlands but need to say that it was offside.
Van Persie was an obstacle for the defender. If he wasnt standing there. The defender will shoot the ball away. So it's: Hinderlijk buitenspel. I don't know the English translating :$

True it was offside  Van Persie was active, although he may not of touched the ball he still blocked the sight of the goalie and stopped the defender getting the ball. Which means it was offside damn id make a good offical lol |
