We have added some new weapons to the server. Please note that this is just a test: weapons might prove too powerful or unfun. If that is the case we will obviously adjust the strength or ammo of the weapons, or we might remove them.
1. F1 teleport grenade [1 for every seeker]
You can teleport yourself to a place that has lower or equal height. The throw origin and the impact origin are compared, so if you jump while throwing you can teleport to a slightly higher spot. Can be used to spawn in front of a hider you are chasing, to boost over walls, or to teleport out of a M4 cage.
2. Nightvision goggles [for seekers, choose in outfitting]
This will make you close to invisible for 5 seconds. Small smoke clouds will appear at your origin every second. You can see yourself, but other players cannot see you, except for the smoke clouds. You can still kill, be stunned and boosted while you are invisible.
Update You are now 10 seconds invisible instead of 5 seconds. Your armor bar is a time indicator. You can use the goggles multiple times now!

hey max, good job on making these new features. thanks a lot for your effort. ive been playing in the server and i think the teleport nades are a great feature for the games which really fits in. The forceshield however is a bit too weird. i dont really understand the benefit of it and it has too many weird side effect. the NV is a good new feature too because now seekers have more options. it will create a lot more fun in the game . I like thermals still better tho. by the way do you play sof too max? never saw you in the server. see you all on sof, Riel.

Well, I asked everyone on the server after a while and they thought there were too many and we discussed about removing one of them. Forcefield.

But anyways Max, we decided to remove 1 nade from Seekers cause we all agreed on the server that they had too many.

The goggles will be upgraded tomorrow. You can use them 10 seconds and your armor bar will be a time indicator. You can use them more than once. riel: I don't play the game.

I think more people will want to seek now, the teleport nade is nice and can surprise hiders That's exactly the reason we added these weapons. It's satisfying to hear that it worked out fine!

I love teleportnade. It encourages seekers not to seek as you can teleport outside the map which can be "cool". I guess it was needed though since some of the new maps are so big.
By the way, I have a question about the teleportnade and I'm too lazy to test it on the server. Can you boost yourself slightly above your level by jumping at the moment of impact? You don't play the game, but technically that should be possible, am I right?

The height will always count the same as your feet the moment you've thrown it. Jump + throw, not throw + jump

max, you should make it so for every second it removes 10 armor.. when armor is gone remove completly, that way u can go invisible for a few seconds with the goggles... thats how i done it on rpmpro h&s and it was leet.

You don't play the game, but technically that should be possible, am I right? From the opening post: The throw origin and the impact origin are compared, so if you jump while throwing you can teleport to a slightly higher spot. max, you should make it so for every second it removes 10 armor.. when armor is gone remove completly, that way u can go invisible for a few seconds with the goggles... thats how i done it on rpmpro h&s and it was leet. It takes 1 armor every 2 frames, so at 20 fps you can use it 10 seconds. I've also made protection so that you cannot put the goggles on immediately after you've used them. UpdateYou are now 10 seconds invisible instead of 5 seconds. Your armor bar is a time indicator. You can use the goggles multiple times now!
