How it all began...

Hide & Seek was founded by me in July, 2007. It was a basic and simple game type that was only playable on some occasions. I decided to talk with Max from 2k3 to use my ideas for this new game type and develop it into a stable mod that could be played 24/7. After the first mod release I decided to open a new server called RPM Hide&Seek which was at first sponsored by 2k3. It became the very first server that hosted h&s 24/7. Undy and me created the AdminTeam a few weeks later when h&s became more popular. He started building us a forum with around 400 members, but it was removed when Undy decided to quit and leave us. Since November, 2007, I've been running this particular forum, www.rpm-hideseek.proboards.com (or www.RPM-hideseek.com which Mario, one of our current members, paid for). We've reached 2,000 registered members so that makes us one of the biggest communities on sof2 along with Demobase and some other forums.
The mod started out to be a very fun challenge in the very beginning. Working with Max was amazing and playing on the server was never boring. He presented us new and cool features everyday and he never stopped developing the mod. It was a crazy time for h&s. A few months later he started selling more and more servers and new h&s clans showed up.
As of today, we have our ups and downs and we do not always have a populated server but unlike other clans on h&s, we do not have any intentions to die. The community is still expanding and we're occasionally running custom maps on the server to make it more active and things like that. We've had 3 fantastic years on RPM Hide&Seek so far. Our team contains many great and experienced h&s players. It used to be possible to donate 10 euros to join this team but nowadays our primary recruitment is throughout applications and polls. I'm still leading this team with Linkan as of today.

Did you know...?
H&S made its first appearance in my infiltration clan server. The first and official map for h&s was mp_hk1. We had no RPG, MM1, MDN11 or alternative grenades at the beginning, just knife and smoke grenades. Among the very oldest players there was; Mecri, Snispas, Kieran, Blitz, Pinkey, Lokal, Undy, Drize, Hiddeh, Bomba, Bambo, Fun, H!T, Benj, B_Y, Landy, Muckz, Juuel e.g. We've had a total of 3 forums and 5 different URL's. We have over 45,000 players on our gametracker stats. Our server was also ranked as #1 in 2007/2008. RPM Hide&Seek is now one of the biggest communities on Sof2.
