Server will be Pure!

The RPM Hide&Seek Community have now decided after some deep researching and planning to within a month become the first cheat free H&S server on SoF2 by enabling the "Pure" option that only allows clients that uses the same files as the server to connect. Pure combined with Mousetrap will be the ultimate anti-cheat tool.

RPM 0.78 is required though Mousetrap on the other side is another discussion. You will risk getting kicked/banned from the server when playing without this unless it's down for all.

I think this will have the same result as the custom maps: the server won't be full anymore. Reason is that alot of players are "noobs" who don't play regularly, and don't check the forum. Let's hope I'm wrong.

I have a strong feeling you're right, but let's hope we can still keep it up in some way by taking advantage of all the experienced players.

We can always go back to unpure after a week or two if we haven't succeeded but damn, this would be a big shame.

well i dont have mt or shit, but i play this stupid game for 6,5 year clean for me there is no fun in a game if you cheat... for example today i killed stas and he only did @check and i got directly kicked... without asking if i could see him, in my eyes pretty gay but there youre rules... i rly dont understand why you ppl are trying so hard to get this stupid game 100% clean it wont work and its almost dead.

Wow, well then excuse us mr clean players who ain't even pure or using mt? Sorry for trying to get rid of hackers? lol word up.

Besides you can't just say you're clean and then expect us to trust you, I can load hacks and easily say "I've been clean for 6 years, why would I cheat?", no one is trusted unless they prove themselves to play clean with mt and pure. If you had to choose between playing in a full server where you can't cheat or a full server where everyone said they are clean and they can surely be trusted, which one would you choose?
