I have mentioned already months ago when Mousetrap was released that I wanted to make the ultimate anti-cheat server which would be RPM Hide&Seek in the future. Many of you knows that Mousetrap is not 100% reliable and it still works to bypass with other hacks than normal. For those who don't know what Pure is, it's a server option that only allows clients with same standard sof2 files as the server has to join. Others can't connect because they either use hacks with mt, or mods (glowskins, laserknives, soundpacks etc) or just a different RPM mod which doesn't block the switch function.
Ok, but the thing is now... I want to make my server really 100% clean from cheaters and before making this I want first Max to finish the RPM 0.78 mod (current version is 0.771) and then secondly do some researches on how many people are Pure/default in sof2.
If you don't know for sure, try to connect to this Pure server: 193.138.205.213:20100. If you wanna become a Pure player right now, all you need to do is to re-install sof2 to make sure your game is clean. And don't add any mods, extra files, or anything else... just two things, Mousetrap and RPM 0.771 (www.2k3servers.com/rpm/RPM.rar)

By the way, we should make it clear that being not pure IS allowed for now so people doesnt vote on yes to look clean, while theyre using mods. But yes, I am pure.

Im trying to be pure ofc. But sometimes when I connect somekind of mod comes along :S Without me wanting it... Well I hope thats the past because I actually uninstalled my Sof2 because of that "mod"

I'm pure and will always be. I've said it thousand times before. Mod is cheat.
I dont understand ppl using it. It's ugly and its not sof. It looks like some kind of robot shitty starwars game. It sucks

Okey, thanks for voting all... The poll will continue to run for those who didn't vote yet until we make the change on the server. Unfortunately it will take some time for the server transformation to become real because we need to wait for RPM 0.78 to be released and then perhaps inform as many as possible 1 month before we actually set Pure. So you can see this coming in about 2 months maybe... If the server will turn out to be empty, we will have to disable the Pure mode so if you really want to support a popular and fun server free from hackers you will then have to make sure all your friends and team mates are running Pure/MT with the latest RPM version!  Here are video tutorials for those who need to reinstall SoF2 or download MT/RPM in order to become Pure: |
