I installed GTA IV on my PC today and according to "Recommended requirements" my computer should be running this game without any problems but it is still laggy as hell, even with low graphics. Oh well, this registering shit in beginning made me nuts cause you gotta create an account at Social Club or something, then login to Live ID and link a Gamertag from Xbox or what ever, what the fuck? :S This is why SoF2 is such a great game lol, you can just install and play at once. Anyways, I ain't going to buy a PS3 nor GTA IV because of all this crap ^^, only gameplay was fun and graphics were cool but GTA San Andreas is still better in my opinion .

True True True. In GTA IV the graphics are amazing and the details are perfect (Completed all the missions in 3 days ) But the game is just to serious if you ask me. San Andreas is much more fun , lol www.youtube.com/watch?v=QdY8YiVFces

I think GTA IV is 'too real'... just some parts are really cool but I mean, that 'you' actually fall from barely hitting an approaching car tords you all the time sucks and when falling out from the window in fast speed car crashes. I should try more of the game before whining like this but it was a bit disappointment, I mean all the registrations you have to make and stuff like that... all this before playing . But GTA San Andreas is still fun imo, I bought it at once as it was released, love the cities, the gangs, the missions (especially the main story, about big smoke, ryder, vehicles, helicopters, air planes and radio stations etc, classic stuff). Awesome.

In General: GTA IV doesn't look that well if you compare with Crysis @ 1920x1200, Very High DX10 settings, 4x AA and 16 AF (but hey!), yet it's a fun game to play. If you downloaded the game, Google around, and you'll find an offline activator which will save you all that annoying activation crap. Problems with textures (missing objects) should get fixed by installing GTA IV's latest patch aswell upgrading your Forceware/CCC drivers (depending on what card you use). Any questions, I'd be glad to help.
@ Charlie: GTA San Andreas is more fun indeed, though the mouse freezing problems etc. I'm expierincing during gameplay is nothing short but crap. You got SA:MP installed aswell? (would require a downgrade to the 1.00 version of the game).

I have GTA 3, Vice City and San Andreas on PS2 ;D.

Ah. Too bad you missed out of all the Multiplayer fun. Though I agree it's a fun game to play Single Player once in a while (every game once in two years or so).
