I think I have the ultimate suggestion. My idea is; each player gets a knive + a emty shotgun. A player will have to stun a zombie and therefor he gain like 5 bullets. (Could be a different number) Once a player gained the 5 bullets he'll be able to use it on the current gun. Now you might think, current gun? Well yes, for each kill (or 2 kills) you'll gain a new gun. For example. A player stuns a zombie, he gains 5 shotgun bullets. With those 5 shotgun bullets he kills 1 zombie and he gains a m3A1. He'll automaticly gain 5 bullets with this gun. By killing another zombie he'll get a new weapon, lets say a Micro Uzi. Yet again he'll get 5 bullets. If a player gets infected by a zombie he'll lose his weapon and drop down 1 weapon. For example a player has a Micro uzi and gets infected, then next round he'll get a m3A1. Ofcourse this is just a global suggestion and alot of things could be changed/modifed about it. I just hope you guys like the idea behind the suggestion.

Not for Max he'll fix this easly if the majority wants it. But Rafi I can't see why this is to easy for humans.. You first need to stun 1 zombie before you gain bullets. Then you gotte shoot those 5 bullets accurate to even kill it. Not to mention when you die you'll lose ur current weapon and simply drop down. By adding this system you'll have a sort of gun-game effect. You'll also be "rewarded" in some way by killing zombies which is actually the main goal for the zombie game isn't it?

i agree with make. But as i said, then the damage must be lower for that

A gungame won't be fun. If the weapons get stronger each round, then in the end the lone zombie will have too much trouble killing anyone.
But what are can do is make the weapons stronger as the round progresses. This means that we have to combine this mini gungame with longer rounds (e.g. 10 minute rounds). At the beginning of each round all humans have a weak weapons, and as the round progresses they get stronger weapons. There are different ways of distributing stronger weapons:
1. Each zombie can drop some kind of weapon when it is killed. The strength of the weapon can either be dependent on the current round time or on the number of zombies. The latter is probably best. 2. By buying weapons for points. By killing a zombie you get a credit which you can use to buy weapons. Each round you start with 0 credits. 3. By set time limits (e.g. each 2 minutes) all humans get a stronger weapon.
What do you think? We need very long rounds, but I like that! Personally I prefer the first option.

I like the second option; buying weapons for points.

I like the first option, random weapon drop.
And you know what max, maybe we should try longer rounds, and the round will end when the last human died.

Not good idea, its better if you start with shotgun with 5 bullets, it isnt hide and seek with stunning and stuff. But thats just my opinion.

What do you think about the weapon drop option for a mini gungame? For example: 1 zombie: shotgun ammo 2 zombies: submachine gun 3 zombies: uzi 4 zombies ... et cetera. We could also include a random factor. For example 50% chance to drop a weapon, and/or a very small chance to drop a powerful weapon.

sounds good but i like charlie's option 2 The weapon buy system is more difficult. How would you buy weapons? At a predefined location? Or select them in your outfitting, but then how can we show the prices? Therefore I think the weapon drop system is best: it's easier to create and less confusing for players.

Random, similiar to Care packages from Call of Duty, you often get less powerful weapons, and on rare occasions you get a high powerful weapon.
M1911A US SOCOM M15 M84 ANM14 SMOHG92 M3A1 Micro Uzi USAS12 M60 MSG90A1 M4 AK74 MM1 RPG
Should we use all of these weapons? Maybe smoke grenade isn't a necessary weapon to include? What about the pistols, should we include them at all, just include 1, or include both?
RPG and MM1 should have low % probability. The assault weapons also low or medium % probablity. Secondary weapons, medium or high % probability. Grenades and pistols also high.
What about AFK zombies? They would drop a random weapon for free if they are killed.
Feel free to develop my idea and we could come up with something really good for the random weapon drops.

only automatic weapons, with other would be too easy for humans. We should stay realistic

I like that weapon buy system mostly.
The prices will be known after a short period of time, enough players will know it to tell it to the new ones.
How can you get them? 1 human is the trader each round. So, as you're a human, you also have to try to defend the trader, otherwise you wont have a big chance to win the round.
Also you can pick up credits, which the other player got before (You could realize it with adding ammo to a weapon, which isnt pickupable)

But you can also be unlucky and only get ammo what happens most of time. But then we get the second problem: what if YOU kill the zombie and a other guy picks your ammo or weapon up?

If you want to the weapon you'll be close to the zombie, ready to pick it up. If someone else is faster to pick it up, then bad luck. If you don't want to pick it up, or you already have an AK and the dropped weapon is an AK, you can help your team mates by giving it to them.

Charlie, you've listed alot of those weapons there but there are more weapons that have never been used I've checked on www.soffiles.com for different weapons, looking for weaponskins. There are around 5 weapons that most people have never heard of. Wouldn't it be fun adding one of those new weapons that never been used before?
