The new rule about getting 3 points for surviving is not good , you gain much more point by dieing first(on purpose ) and then killing 5/6 humans. I also think killing a zombie as human should give you more points than killing a human as zombie. Screenshot on how to win:

Yes when I think about it, it's a problematic score system. But also, the Top3 can be abused when the server is empty (mostly nights/mornings), you go to server alone and you start sof 1 more time so you can play yourself as 1 afk zombie and as 1 human. You rape your afk zombie under 20 minutes at the same time as you're surviving each round = Voila, you've made a new Top3 record. I'm not saying this is a big deal, these are nolifers, I can remove separate top3 scores from the FTP if I see anything suspicious, but perhaps a different score system should be laid out now due to Androew's new example of how "unfair" it is. Any ideas?

Wrong topic dr.Spy Anyway I think the entire score system doesn't work. If a person survives all rounds and kills like 2 zombies each round you'll be having max scores almost. Within a month atleast 3 people did it for sure which in the end leads that you cannot get the top 3 scores anymore

Suggestion: Add the gungame asap so we can stop boosting with m4 and so on, zombies is getting slightly boring without this. Stun feature too I think, it keeps you motivated in the game. Two other urgent things that should be changed and fixed soon is the 20 sec weapon delay (especially for a map like mp_hos1) and !et bug, being zombie 2 rounds in a row (many people are annoyed by this).

1.) I would really advise you to take out the M4, and maybe replace it through the not-used forcefield nade in H&S. If you have 2 cages with M4, you can boosts on high position, which zombies needs ~ 5-6. Thats such unfair, as if sniper is with you, you basically won the round. Currently it's your thing to hide from the zombies. This doesn't mean to get rid of any boosts. Well, sure, glitchers will still try to, but if you can't boost on most spots anymore it will get more fun anyway 2.) Add a trader into the human team. As I said in my idea before, from the trader you can get any weapon you want. As example, for every kill of the zombie, you get 5 credits (will be shown as ammo from pistol or something which isn't used). If you push any button into his direction, it will automatically give you the next best weapon you can buy for this amount of credits. If you already had this weapon, it will give you the next, and so on. This addes 2 new features: A basically new tactic about killing zombies, and the defending of the trader. If the trader is dead, you just lost the game cause you cant get better weapons anymore. 3.) Add some 'waves'. Waves was my idea taken from Age of Empires, in the game called Tower Defend. Sometimes, between the normal units, there was some stronger units as normally. So you enable for the zombies aswell some little options like, 1 leading zombie can decide if you run: 'Rage' => +30 Speed/Gravity 'Invisibily' => 30sec invisble For all zombies or something. Make the game more intresting 4.) As I saw on the video from pwnah, you maybe add that the zombie isnt spawned at the start of the game. Maybe it's running like all other humans at start, and at 3:31 he will turn into a zombie WITHOUT respawning. This will make the game much more funnier, especially that you can not trust anyone anymore Regards, Fabian

@ Astinos: 1. M4 will be removed when the gungame is added. 2. I don't like a trader, I would prefer a trading post. 3. We've discussed this before. We think this would cause too much confusion among the players. 4. I love this idea! Start with a human team and after 20-30 seconds a random one will transform into a zombie. Yes imo point 4 is a great and more realistic idea, so can someone if he knows he died as first walk with the other humans and then zombify them, its brilliant, but max when are the next updates?

I've actually made some updates just yet, but haven't uploaded the new version to the server yet. I'll test if the updates work properly tomorrow before uploading it.

The random picking of the first infected human is ok as long as we remove special weapons and disallow most of the boosts and glitches. I will handle the last part after max has removed special weapons and added random weapon drops. Also Max, could you please change the zombie afk-kick into a ft spec? It's nicer to still have people on the server (in spec) as afk than kicking them. Also they might come back any second, not that it takes 1 hour to /reconnect but still... The score system should also be changed due to the abuse of afk killing. It's still possible to get around 5 free points killing an afk zombie within 30 seconds. It depends on the distance between humans and zombies spawn.

Well the market post would be a good idea as well, but I see some big problems in there. I am sure, if there is everytime a specific market spot on any map, the zombies will guard it all the time. So the humans do not have any chance to get on it, except of shooting them immadinately.

Here are some suggestions for the point-system:
-> ZOMBIE killing HUMAN | 1 Point -> HUMAN killing ZOMBIE | 3 Points -> Winning a round as HUMAN | 4 Points
But then there is a new problem cause the sniper guy in the round will have it pretty easy to earn his points.

Since the score system is very hard to solve because however we suggest to change it, there still lies a problem within it, wouldn't it be good just to skip the Top3 and instead use the Awards as in competition mode?
Would people care about winning the map, so to speak?

I think thats a bad suggestion. People like the competition to win a map and kill some zombies. If you even remove the score system, there is no reason to kill zombies anymore, cause points are useless. Camping is made.

Your suggestion isn't any better tbh. It gives advantage to sniper carriers, as you said. And adding another point for surviving a round just adds more reason to camp/hide.
